New here - thought this might interest some of you

I've just recently discovered this site through Kos's sbnation.com and thought I would introduce myself. I've been subscribed for the past month or so to the RSS feed and am really enjoying the various diaries and posts that have come up. I don't get HBO or Showtime so it's cool to read the analysis of the various fights that I can't watch.
In any case, this article was in the Detroit Free Press last month and I thought it might be something worth sharing.
I had been following with a little interest the careers of the three Teamcannon heavyweights because of their Detroit roots. I saw Leo Nolan fight (scroll down to see the card at Decarlo's - notable because Darnell "Ding-a-ling Man" Wilson fought also. Worst. Nickname. Ever.) last year but the three sort of fell out of the news until I saw this story about Booker.
It's sort of a typical story I guess but that doesn't make it any easier to understand.
