LiveBlog: Baldomir v. Gatti

Nice action from both in the first. Baldomir stood well against Gatti's left hooks, but they were nice left hooks nonetheless. Baldomir is already reddening a little around the right eye, and Gatti got an inadvertant headbutt in. Really fun round, hopefully it stays this way.

More good action in the second. Baldomir's got the right going in very well and clearly knows it. I'm giving this round to Baldomir.

Great, great fighting so far. Gatti got rocked late in the round but had started it well. I'm going Baldomir again, he's a lot more consistent and just hammering Gatti with the right so far. If he was stronger, this one might be over.

Gatti is cut under his left eye, which bodes well for my Baldomir in 9 prediction. Little more cautious from both this round, but Baldomir looks sharp. No clinching, no bullshit. I was right to be excited for this fight.

Holy shit was that a fun round. Just bombs from both, and not flailing Mayorga bombs but shot after shot after shot. I'm giving this to Gatti.

Gatti got nailed with a low blow and it almost devolved into an alley brawl for a second. Gatti is landing some serious shots and Baldomir is just eating them. Another solid round.

Slower round by this fight's standards. Gatti is cautious and trying to box more it seems, which he might've wanted to get to before, but you never know. In my opinion, Baldomir is subtly dominating here and everyone with a brain should know it.
