Calzaghe talks retirement again

In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Joe Calzaghe says that he has two fights, at most, left in his career, and that his next one could be his last.

"There are plenty of other things I want to do. My next fight could definitely be my last. ... I don't want to fight on for money. That's not the right motivation. I need to have a goal, like Hopkins. It has to be something big to motivate me."

At last word, promoter Frank Warren has said that a conclusion to the Hopkins-Calzaghe negotiations is "very close," but we'll see.
