Jorge Teron, John Duddy and Peter Quillin pose for a photo at a press conference to promote "The Grande Event" on November 21 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. None have named opponents yet, but both Duddy and Quillin will move on to an HBO Boxing After Dark date in January should they win and not come out hurt. Duddy would likely fight Ronald Hearns on that date. (Photo thanks to Marty Rosengarten/RingsidePhotos.com)

Ugh
Duddy taking a fight, even against a creampuff, in advance of an HBO date is bad news for him. He’ll probably end up with a 90-day suspension due to cuts.

was worried about the same thing
They have to be exceptionally careful matching him for this show. Perhaps Leroy “Rootin’ Tootin’” Newton could step in.
