Drums of War Sound Again: Vazquez-Marquez I and II

Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez are both incredible to watch. Thundering power, deft boxing skills, heart for days. Both men have all of that.

I want to help hype the hell out of their third fight, coming up on Saturday, March 1, because they deserve it. And because I want everyone to see this fight.

I do mean everyone. I want boxing fans, MMA-exclusive fans that find boxing to be dull, football fans, baseball fans, basketball fans, hockey fans that miss fights, soccer moms, cats and goldfish to see this fight.

If you're a casual boxing fan that has stumbled to Bad Left Hook, and you think you only care about "big fights" or the heavyweights, then give these two 122-pounders a chance. No, they aren't big guys. But tell me these aren't bone-rattling shots. Tell me the skill isn't just off the charts. Tell me, after watching these fights, that you just can't see yourself watching the smaller weight divisions.

Showtime should be given great credit for the loyalty they've shown to these two wonderful fighters. And it's because of Showtime that we have good video of the first two fights between the warriors to share with you. They're encouraging everyone to share their media, and that's a nice step from the network.

Without any further ado, Bad Left Hook presents to you via Showtime: Israel Vazquez v. Rafael Marquez I and II. If you've never seen the fights, watch them. If you've seen them, you know you want to watch them again.

Fully agree Thunder and lightning
I'm not big at heavyweights. I can tell you that much. It has not been great since the top dogs have fought. Louis, Fraser, Marciano, Ali... now those were heavyweight fight hard punch hitters.

Now this Vazquez-Marquez... match made in heaven. This is Thunder and Lightning. Not a match to miss I agree. This is one of those you hit me I hit you matches. No Mayweather/Oscar running type fight purely I stand in the middle of the ring and give each others our best punches. There aren't that many fights out like this now days. They are hard to come buy kind of like antique matches. This is watch boxing is all about. I can't wait... A week is too long to wait.

This is a PPV fight like it or not. I do not even know on whos side to be anymore. It doesn't matter either way. There is good better and best.

Vazquez-Marquez I was good...
Vazquez-Marquez II was better...
Vazquez-Marquez III will be the best. I guarantee and you can take that to the bank. You have to cherish this fight. This is a baby and a granddaddy at its best. It will probably not happen again for a long time. So what ever it is you do... by all means do not miss this match. So I fully agree. This match has got to be seen. And if your girl interferes with the fight for sex time... simple tape it.

Thanks
Heard about these fights.  But never saw them.  Found your site by way of BloodyElbow.  My father is a big boxing fan, so I grew up watching hagler, hearns, leonard, etc.  But stopped watching boxing a few years ago.  Found my way back thanks to Pavlik/Taylor.. looking forward to seeing Vazquez-Marquez III, may even save my $$ and watch this live instead of UFC 82 on saturday.

You guys are in luck. This fight is NOT pay per view. So enjoy. No need to sweat it.

yeah
Not to give any of the companies ideas, but Showtime could've hooked a LOT of diehard boxing fans by pairing this with other action-guaranteed fights and promoting it hard. Arum has done well with the Chavez/Arce cards with no promotion whatsoever past the internet.

Great fights
Thanks for posting Scott, i not seen the 2nd match before and it was brilliant.

We are going to get more action in one round this weekend than all the rounds put together for that heavyweight unification.

Hope they get lots of dollar. They Deserve it.

Mainstream is brought to you..Underground you got to go there
