Pavlik files police report in Ohio

Middleweight world champion Kelly Pavlik has filed a police report in Youngstown seeking protection from a former sponsor who is on his way to prison, and has threatened to "get" Kelly before the jail time begins.

Pavlik, understandably, fears for not only his safety, but that of his fiancé and daughter, and one would assume anyone else close to him.

Just goes to show you that you don't have to be a perceived "thug" boxer to fall into trouble with the wrong sort. Hopefully this will all just be water under the bridge with nothing more happening.
