is there any good reason he had to wait until October for his first (full-time) Heavyweight fight? His last fight was in March.
For what it’s worth (nothing, most likely), BoxRec has him facing Oleg Maskaev.

I’ve heard the Maskaev rumor, too. I like that fight.
And I think he waited until October so he can properly bulk up and do it right. When you’re used to cutting down so hard to be “in fighting shape,” staying around your natural weight (which is all he’s really doing) and making that “in fighting shape” can be hard.
