The official fight poster for September 27's HBO double-header, pitting Shane Mosley against Ricardo Mayorga in the main event, and WBC welterweight titlist Andre Berto defending against veteran Steve Forbes in the featured undercard bout.

I find this poster interesting for many reasons. First of all, "a night of the welterweight elite" is a bit much. Mosley-Mayorga will be contested at 154 pounds, for one thing, and Mayorga hasn't fought at welterweight since 2003. Forbes is also not really a welterweight and nowhere near the elite, though his weight issue goes the other way.

This poster is a pack of lies! Good color, though. Also it looks fast. HBO and Showtime totally know me.
