Jorge Arce will defend interim title on Nov. 1

485581_medium Despite earlier reports that newly-crowned WBA junior bantamweight interim titlist Jorge Arce would immediately move up in weight, he's now set to return to the ring on the November 1 "Latin Fury" pay-per-view card, featuring on Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr.'s, undercard once again.

Arce will reportedly "defend" against Isidro Garcia, a non-challenge that will likely help Arce thrill the Vegas crowd with a quick knockout. Garcia is 25-5-2 in his career, with just eight wins by knockout. He has been stopped inside the limit three times. The former flyweight titlist has lost two of his last three.

Arce will be looking to land career win number 51, after scoring his 50th recently against Rafael Concepcion in a hell of a fight on Mexican Independence Day.

Hey, maybe it's a BS fight,  but as I've said before, Arce is always fun. He'll contribute a knockout on November 1 should you choose to open your wallet for that show.
