I really wish Mijares had a higher profile in the States. Hopefully with Versus’ revamped Fight Nights, guys like Mijares will get more shots at US TV.

He knocked the snot out of Arce

who was probably one of the 5 most popular boxers in Mexico at the time, so I’d hope he has a following there. At least he can make a good living in the lower weights SOMEWHERE.
