I’m pretty happy about this. It was getting annoying, hearing all these guys calling for Taylor’s retirement, when he’s a 31 year old former champion who ahas lost all of four fights. Knockouts happen.

Totally agreed. I couldn’t see why people were so strongly calling for his retirement. Maybe his best days are behind him but he’s a top level fighter.

It’s not like he got knocked out by some cupcakes either. Pavlik is a knockout artist and Arty Abe has very heavy hands and a style built to tire out someone like Jermain. And while Froch is no great shakes, he’s no some cupcake either. Call me when Mahir Oral and Eric Mitchell are KO’ing him.

That’s pretty much what I said. I recognize he’s having a bad run right now and maybe won’t ever be a truly TOP level guy again, but the HE MUST RETIRE TO SAVE HIS LIFE talk was getting way over the top.
