Per Dan Rafel, Chavez tested positive for a diuretic before his fight with Troy Rowland. JCC could be suspended for as many as 9 months, and will be fined. If the appeal doesn't get this overturned, the fight would be changed to a no decision.
This is a pretty stupid move by JCC.

doesn’t do much on it’s own – this is a masking drug. Some diuretics can push the heart beyond natural limits – ephedrine – but this one (to me), means he was taking something else.
