Klitschko-Haye talks suspended! / ?
According to the Ukrainian language section of klitschko.com, Wladimir Klitschko has decided to stop negotiations with David Haye. He says the main problem has been a lack of professionalism on the part of Haye and his representatives. Wlad says Haye can’t decide on his demands. “If Haye continues in the same spirit, it will be two more years before he get a chance to reach a championship fight.” In the event the fight with Haye is not resurrected, Wlad plans “to face Chris Arreola or find someone else. This will be determined later.”

Wow if it really happens the Hayes blew a huge chance
He was getting the easier to the two brothers for him to beat, with his style anyways, and now he has none. I doubt he can beat either of them but he could have gotten paid nicely to try and land a knockout shot. At least someone, really anyone, more deserving will get a shot.

not really
I see Chris Arreola as no more deserving than Haye. Arreola hasn’t beaten Monte Barrett.

I have changed my mind
guys jump weight classes all the time and immediately challenge for a belt at the new class. So I guess there is no reason he shouldn’t be able to. After all he was the man at Cruiser when he moved up. People have no problem with the Pac-man fighting Hatton despite never fighting at light welter. Or fighting Oscar at Welter despite jumping multiple classes.
I just don’t like how he is saying that he has beat two legitimate heavyweights. Bonin sucks, his 4 fighters after Hayes had records of 1-27, 9-1, 4-14, 12-0 one of which he lost, and Barret is no good, so he knocked out Fields and made it to the 11th with Valuev he was knocked out the next fight by Cliff Couser in the second round. I liked his first argument that he proved everything he could at Cruiser and now he wanted the best at heavy.
It still doesn’t change the fact that if he doesn’t get this fight he royally screwed up and it might be a while before he fights for a belt.

yeah
The Klitschkos have mandatories growing out of their ears. Vitali has Gomez coming up and Maskaev later, Wladimir has Arreola and Povetkin. Haye is going to have to stay busy. If he loses to someone, forget it.

It kinda pisses me off that some other fighters can get away with not fighting their mandatories for years.
