Joshua Clottey Plans To Bring The Fight To Miguel Cotto
Folks over at Boxingscene.com are reporting that a Cotto-Clottey bout is almost finalized. Everything has been agreed upon and it has been reported that all that is missing are two John Hancocks.
Clottey had previously contacted BoxingScene.com to advise the readers of Top Rank's decision to place him in the fight with Cotto. He says everything is agreed upon by both sides and contracts are going to be signed this week.
"I want to be the first Ghanaian to unify two titles at the same time and I will go all out to achieve this for myself, my family and the entire nation. This is an opportunity I can’t miss, because none of the boxers in my rank want to fight me. So I have to take up the challenge to keep me in shape and also see my dreams materialize," Clottey told GNA Sports .
In addition, Clottey expressed that he was interested in pursuing a challenge with the current walterweight king, Mosley, if all goes well in the Cotto fight.
I don't want to say THANK YOU Boxing Gods just yet, but yes THANK YOU!
"Perhaps there was an offer they couldn't refuse."
