Donaire card back on

BoxingScene.com has learned that the on-and-off, frequently postponed or changed card featuring Nonito Donaire's 112-pound title defense against Raul Martinez is back on for April 18 at Araneta Coliseum.

The card has changed dates more than a couple times and was called off last week, but now it appears it'll actually go ahead. I still wouldn't say this is 100% certain; maybe 90%.

Donaire (20-1, 13 KO) getting back in the ring is a good thing, and Martinez (24-0, 14 KO) is not only coming down from junior bantamweight, but the 27-year old Texan while largely uproven is a solid challenge, too. And the co-feature between 108-pound titlist Solis (28-1-2, 20 KO) and Viloria (24-2, 14 KO) is a nice fight, too, even though Viloria hasn't fought at 108 pounds in his last five outings, or fought a serious opponent, either.

viloria is the brandon vera of boxing.. Both were expected to be the future filipino stars in their respective sports.. Both suddenly became disappointing, tentative and boring fighters..

they both have the skill and the potential to be great but look at where they are now..
