Highlights from Martin Rogan vs Matt Skelton. Rogan reminds me a bit of some of those old time fighters who had almost no skill but just kept pressing forward and showed a top of heart. Skelton seemed to be landing a ton of clean shots on Rogan, yet Rogan was able to score the first KO of Skelton's career.

I’ve only seen bits of Rogan, but I get the same impression. He’s got a lot of guts, which at least partly makes up for a lack of natural ability. Skelton may be pretty old but he’s no patsy and he can throw. I really didn’t think Rogan had a shot at beating him when I saw the matchup, thought of it as a “feel-good” bit of matchmaking like Cotto-Gomez (but, y’know, not a borderline criminal mismatch).

37 and just 10 pro fights. i dont think he can get much better than what he is. good and scrappy tough guy though. i like him.
hes good enough to beat the skeltons, harrisions, and danny williams of the world in the uk but hes not going to beat anyone much better.
depends what Danny shows up
If it’s the one that cares about being there I have to think he beats Rogan. But you never know with him.
