Around SBN: Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire Vow To Fit In With Lin

For those who didn't see it, here's a crazy uppercut that Paul Williams pulled off last night while Winky Wright was holding his other arm. Can't say I've seen much like it before. The strangest part is that Joe Cortez actually warned Williams for holding and hitting after the punch - it looked so unnatural, that he just didn't know what to do with it.

Another reason why I hate Joe Cortez.

"Boxing is dirty," said Casamayor. " The day I’m not ready to be a dirty fighter is the day I don’t fight anymore because it will mean that I have no heart for it anymore."

Yeah, it was a pretty funny moment

Paul is such a freak of nature. I’ve been thinking long and hard, but I can’t think of another punch like that either.

Cortez was simply awful the entire fight.

what's sad is I've just come to expect it

He’s turned into a truly rotten referee. It’s a complete shame that Tony Weeks was on the undercard and Joe Cortez was the third man for the main event.
