Solis will wreck him

No
Viloria seems done to me. Maybe he has a bit more fire in him recently, but while I liked him at first, it seems like he’s been fighting just for the paycheck for a while now, and he just don’t throw nearly enough punches to deal with top level fighters. It’s really frustrating to watch, because he used to be a high workrate guy, but these days he just can’t pull the trigger.

i kinda think youre right..
he’s been really disappointing ever since the fight where he lost the title.. It seems like he has the speed, the power, and the skill to be the top dog, but it looks like he doesn’t have the heart or the fire in him anymore..

ok im in a dilema now..
I might be able to get some free tickets for the Donaire show.. But then, UFC 97 is also showing at that time.. If i watch the ufc at home, i could also catch the donaire show on the delayed telecast later on in the afternoon.. If i go to the show, i get to see them fight live..
Im a way bigger mma fan than i am a boxing fan, but a boxing card like this doesn’t happen much here..
what to do what to do..

I would go to the boxing fight. I know it isn’t exactly a star studded card but there is something electric when you get fighters fighting close or near their hometown.
I would see if someone could record the UFC fight and then see it with some of your buddies afterwards.
Personally I would never turn down free tickets…. no matter what the event is…basketball, boxing, mma… etc.

Solis is an excellent fighter, sadly ignored because he fights at a tiny weight and isn’t an undefeated ridiculous technician like Ivan Calderon. I think Solis is a P4P top 20 contender. Viloria has been up and down and failed in his tougher fights. Watching him fight can be frustrating as all hell; he can hit fairly hard but he has a habit of just standing in there and not letting his hands go at all. He’s one of the few guys that even after you see him stink it up a few times, still REALLY seems like he should be better than he is.

He's like a tiny Pinoy Jeff Lacy
His punches are straighter, but same general idea, IMO.
