Juanma is an absolute monster. Those numbers are terrifying— combine them with his speed, technique and power and you’ve got something very special.

The really scary part
Is that he’s good at boxing from the outside as well, just he hasn’t had to show it in his last 5 fights or so.
Vogt early, Vogt often.

Has he even shown any weaknesses at all?

The only weakness I noticed was towards the latter rounds, he seemed quite tired and his speed slightly slowed. But they were still brutally coming him. Just lord man, the look on Penelosa face looked like a truck ran him over some how.

Much props to Penelosa though. I have yet to understand how the heck he stood up.

Yeah. A lesser fighter is done early in that fight. He’s a warrior and a half. I mean, my God, 49% of 863 power punches landing? That’s unreal.

And it’s not like Penalosa ever really looked hurt. I mean, his face was brutally marked up, and occasionally he’d be buzzed for a moment, but there was never a moment where it was like “oh, he’s on the verge of going down” or where his legs started to give. He’d just cover up and slip for awhile, and launch those damn counter hooks.
