Yoan Pablo Hernandez vs. Aaron Williams, from yesterday in Germany. Officially, Hernandez won on the scorecards 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74. In my opinion, these scorecards are completely absurd. At worst, this was a very close fight, and there's a pretty good argument that Williams got robbed outright. Williams didn't do himself any favors by letting Hernandez be the aggressor and even running in parts of the fight, but he consistently made Hernandez miss and consistently landed the cleaner, harder shots. If you score the bout as wide as you can for Hernandez, you might be able to get to the 78-74 score, but I hope to never see Josef Temml or Rainer Schwartz scoring another major fight again.
