I’ve never played any of these games and don’t have a space-age game system. I’m pretty sure I played Fight Night 2 at my brother’s house a couple of times, but there was something awkward about it, like I would press a button and than half a second later something would happen. That could just have been an illusion because of my Matrix-like reflexes, though . . .

I was a Ring King fanatic in the arcades. It was no boxing simulation, I guess. Everyone looked like a bobblehead porn star and there was something a little “Brokeback Mountain” about the clinch but it was pretty fluid and gave you a good boxing “feel”, particularly when you lit the guy up with a 1-2. Anyone feelin me on that, or do I have to fetch my Geritol.
