Froch is a tough fighter, can take a punch and he has balls. It would be a hell of a fight and he got recognition for the way he knocked Taylor out. He deserves it. What better commercial can you get than by fighting me? He introduced himself by beating Taylor and he can seal the deal by becoming a superstar if he fights me.
Bernard Hopkins on Carl Froch. The talk appears to be heating up.

Although this is still a very long way from happening, i can see why hopkins would be interested in this fight. Froch is an undefeated champion who has recently made a name for himself by stopping jermain taylor, but has flaws that could well make him easy pickings for a ring general like b-hop. If they do fight, I don’t think it’s even close (assuming time hasn’t belatedly caught up with hopkins), and it would be another strong accomplishment to (possibly) end his career on.
What he doesn’t mention, of course, is that is froch gets his ass kicked, then his superstar status will probably diminish, rather than grow

Whatever
And I guarantee you Hopkins will call out Froch on FNF this week, just like he called out Adamek a few weeks ago, and the end result will be the same. Froch brings a lot less money to the table than Adamek or even Chad Dawson.
Vogt early, Vogt often.

but
He’s a lot less of a threat, and Froch may well be eaiser to dictate to money wise than Adamek or Dawson, and its the easiest way to (again possibly) finish on a high.
