Just in case the foul-fest game 4 of the NBA Finals doesn't float your boat, here's your Versus boxing presentation (or something like that).

The commentary sucks. The fight is being shown in letterbox. Current fight between Charles Huerta and Noe Lopez Jr. isn't bad. But...well...as I type this DOWN GOES LOPEZ IN ROUND 3! Let me stop what I was going to type. Lopez goes down again. He gets decked again with a right hand and the fight is stopped.

I think that should fulfill the 75 word quota.

UPDATE: The televised results

Ricky Lopez (4-0, 2 KO) def Rufino Serrano (1-1, 0 KO) - UD 4 in featherweight action

Charles Huerta (11-0, 7 KO) def Noe Perez Jr. (4-1, 3 KO) - TKO 3 in a featherweight bout

Luis Ramos (11-0, 6 KO) def Baudel Cardenas (18-17-2, 6 KO) - TKO 5 in the lightweight division

David Rodela (13-1-2, 6 KO) def Juan Garcia (14-3, 5 KO) - SD 6 in the main event in the featherweight division

The Rodela result was BS. No way should he have gotten anywhere near a victory.

As mentioned earlier, the broadcast was terrible. Mario Solis, Bernard Hopkins, and Doug Fischer made for a nightmare announcing trio. I don't think I'll be watching another Fight Night Club any time soon.

FanPosts do not necessarily reflect the views of the editors of Bad Left Hook or SB Nation. They might, though.

So just to confirm

Charles Huerta TKO-3

Bernard Hopkins is one of the analysts. This may be the most amateurish boxing broadcast I’ve ever seen.

lol doug fischer. i’ve seen him on a few hbo countdowns. i never thought i’d see him commentating a boxing match. the lampley of this broadcasting team (mario solis) is pretty stiff. sounds like he’s just reading from a script

Ugh, Magic game is a blowout in the making

Our next fight is Luis Ramos (10-0, 5 KO) vs. Baudel Cardenas, who has 16 losses. You don’t even need to know his win total. But just because…it’s 18.

It’s a 6 round fight in the lightweight division.

Ramos vs. Cardenas Round 1

Cardenas is backing up against the ropes while Ramos uses him as a human moving punching bag. They stalk each other in the ring as Ramos lands a good right hand. Cardenas tries a three punch combination and misses on all three.

And BOOM! Down he does on a body shot. He gets up but he’s still wincing. He has a minute to survive. Wow, Ramos should be after this dude. He’s barely over .500 in his career for goodness sakes! Cardenas lands a short left hand to end the round.

10-8 Ramos

Ramos vs. Cardenas Round 2

Seriously, this pbp guy is dreadful. I mean they’re pumping up a tomato can as if he’s no pushover. This isn’t Emanuel Augustus. Uppercut by Ramos. Not much to say really. And on cue a right hook to the body gets to Cardenas. The two try and exchange but it doesn’t really amount to anything. Damn Cardenas’ liver will be shot at this rate. Lots of body punches by Ramos. Bell sounds.

20-17 Ramos

Ramos vs. Cardenas Round 3

Ramos is hurting Cardenas with a right to the side of the head. This stiff should be done already. Dude has to learn killer instinct. Not much to say here.

30-26 Ramos

Ramos vs. Cardenas Round 4

Wow I absolutely hate these announcers. It’s a strong word but really everyone sucks except B-Hop. Did DLH just pay them to whore out LA?

Meanwhile Ramos must be fighting for a decision. Three straight left punches to Cardenas’ grill. Just 40 seconds remains in round 4. They clinch and at this point I’m starting to root for a takedown and an armbar attempt.

40-35 Ramos

Ramos vs. Cardenas Round 5

49-37 Magic over the Lakers approaching halftime.

Knock this SOB out, Ramos! It’s like no one taught him he’s a lightweight and should have some form of a workrate. His corner just asked for “punches in bunches” according to this announcer.

“I think he’s boxing a beautiful fight.” – Doug Fischer

You’re kidding me.

Hey!!! A right hand drops Cardenas off the combination. And this fight is mercifully over.

Rodela vs. Garcia Round 1

Hey look bobbing and weaving for 30 seconds. Jab by Rodela and now he connects on a right hand. Garcia ran into a left hand. Halfway through round 1 as Rodela gets caught with a decent jab. Usually prospect fights don’t suck miserably like the majority have tonight.

Rodela fires a right hand that isn’t close. 30 ticks left. Nothing major happens. Way to go, Versus. WEC 41 on Sunday, this crap show on Thursday.

10-9 Rodela

Rodela vs. Garcia Round 2

Stick to commentating in Spanish, Mario Solis.

I’m half-asleep RBRing this but the crowd is making noises so I assume something happened. They’re swinging away and I catch Garcia missing with an uppercut. Good inside work from Garcia as we approach 1 more minute left in round 2. Left hand by Garcia and he’s dominating this round. Hook to the body and then another upstairs by Garcia!

Fischer, how many more people are you going to compare to Juan Manuel Marquez?

Clear Garcia round.

Rodela vs. Garcia Round 3

Garcia is just working on Rodela, at the moment. Some adequate technical skill and catches Rodela with a left hand. Rodela trying to be the aggressor but it’s not really working. Garcia backs his opponent against the ropes and starts working on the inside. Left uppercut by Rodela catches Garcia and this fight is somewhat decent. Garcia may be hurt here as he holds on.

Right hand stumbles Rodela! He’s hurt! Is he going to stay up?! He will! Just barely. He was clearly rocked there and survives the round.

29-28 Garcia

Rodela vs. Garcia Round 4

Anyone notice that Versus cuts to the round 10 seconds in?

GARCIA IS HURT?! Looks like his glove touched the canvas. He’s still getting hit and he stays on his feet and gets out of trouble. I turned away for a moment and all of a sudden he got caught. Good fight. Rodela is down but he was pushed. Solid body shot by Garcia. 30 seconds left.

Rodela says “come on” and naturally eats a left jab to end the round which he won.

38-38 Even

Rodela vs. Garcia Round 5

I thought that was a knockdown. No doubt about it. I’m going to revise my score and give Rodela a 10-8.

Rodela is currently the one on the attack. He complains he was hit behind the head. Good right hook by Garcia. I’m half paying attention.

So the revised score was 38-37 Rodela, but now it’s 47-47 even.

Rodela vs. Garcia Round 6 (Final Round)

Great stuff to begin the final round. Some swinging, if not wild, and connecting. Garcia continues to successfully land that right hand. Now he’s hurt with another shot! He has no answer for it. 1 minute left in the fight!

He gets him again! Just 12 seconds left and that overhand right just misses. But he lands now! Rodela clearly shaken but not down! Probably the round that wins it for Garcia. It has to be him.

57-56 Garcia

You could make a case that it was a 10-8 round with that domination.
