Cotto, Clottey make weight!

The most important fight of the week, Clottey-Cotto, is just a day away and it is always good news to here when the fighters have finalized their training and made weight. The crown holder, Miguel Cotto, weigh-in at 146 lbs. for his title showdown against the warrior from Ghana Joshua Clottey. Clottey came in at 147 lbs. 146 lbs. for Cotto is not that bad of a deal. Perhaps he was trying to prove something. Something like he can possibly go lower than 147 for a possible showdown between current Pound for Pound king, Manny Pacquiao. They [Cotto-Clottey] collide Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

In the principle undercard, Ivan Calderon came in 106.25 lbs., while Rodel Mayol came in at 106.5lbs.

Info from El Nuevo Dia:

Una dieta orgánica y un entrenamiento en Tampa se vio reflejado en el físico de Cotto, quien, inclusive, tomó una batida luego del pesaje, en vez de los caldos que toma.

Translation: An organic diet and training in Tampa showed Cotto's phisical condition. In addition he drank a "smoothie" after the weigh-in instead of a bowl of soup he normal takes after a weigh-in.

Doesn't sound too strange, I am just used to fighters trying to mount in on weight after the weigh-in. Any other fighters doing this?
