Pacquiao Wants Coto November 14th

http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=20444

Star-divide

The story has a quote where Bob Arum says Coto's cut isn't that bad. Can't wait for this, i just hope it isn't Arum just talking. I would assume it would have to go down at 147 lbs which shouldn't be that big of a deal seeing as Coto and Manny are similar in height and reach. I like Manny to win this, by a KO if it does happen. I'm a little worried that Coto has become a retreating fighter in his last few fights. I remember when he was a devestating pressure fighter and body puncher, it seems that that is so long ago.

While watching the fight over the weekend I kept looking at Pac on the left trying to judge his reaction to the fight. He might of been there looking for his next fight, he was sitting next to Arum by the time Cotto came up but was few chairs away at the start of the night during Calderon’s fight

Cotto

“I’m a little worried that Coto has become a retreating fighter in his last few fights. I remember when he was a devestating pressure fighter and body puncher, it seems that that is so long ago”.

I couldn’t agree with that statement more. It seems he has really backed off the pedal recently in his fights and I don’t think it suits his fighting style. Although he is skilled in the boxing department he was much more effective when he pressured fighters and just plain broke them down. That’s the Miguel Cotto that I became a huge fan of. What happened to him?

What happened to him?

1. Loaded handwraps
2. Clottey’s forehead

Pacman by beheading.

Andy Reid is the only coach in NFL history that uses the pass to set up the pass.

It's funny

Because before the Clottey fight, I was saying I wanted Cotto-Pacquiao more than the other options out there, and people kept telling me it was a mismatch and there were better fights out there. Now people think it’s a mismatch going the other way.

It’s physically even and stylistically I think Pacquiao is just a lot better and way more explosive at this point.

Wish we knew the truth about Margarito.

That would help clear up a lot of the questions in my head.

If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

Maybe

But I think the Cotto who dismantled Quintana, Gomez and Urkal is still there. Clottey just didn’t give Cotto much of an opportunity to fight that way due to his tight guard. I think Cotto would end up being more aggressive against Pacquiao, but I also think Pacquiao would time the hell out of him and keep nailing him with counters.

Great fight but I got Cotto stopping Manny somewhere between the 6th and 8th. Although Manny sure makes it hard to pick him as the loser.

Cotto would be demolished. Seriously. Anything south of 147 would kill him. He fought Paulie at 140 and looked horrible. The only good thing for him was that Paulie looked worse. Handspeed has always given Cotto problems and he’ll get plenty of that against Manny.

Manny by 4th Round TKO.

BRING IT !!

A yo, this is going to be a great fight if it happen’s. I dont like Cotto’s new team he’s gonna need his uncle in the corner on this one.To me Cotto is a good boxer at 140 and he dident look horrible in the Paulie fight Cotto gave him a ass whipping he never had Paulie never been the same since that fight he need’s to retire, and for hand speed every boxer haves problem’s ,Cotto’s no slouch to hand speed he beat Mosley, Cotto will adjust like all great boxer’s do . If this go’s down Cotto will be ready he is a true warrior.
