In the attached link, Vitali Klitschko states that he and Nicolai Valuev have had conversations and have agreed to fight each other. Sky Sports is reporting the same. Obviously, contracts still need to be negotiated and the like, so there's still a lot that could sink this ship, but this would be the last step in getting rid of the non-Klitschkos from the heavyweight title picture. Thank God

we should now be able to forget about Valuev forever after he is dismantled within 3 rounds.

and

it probably means that Arreola is going to have to wait some more to get a crack at a Klitschko. How about Haye-Arreola?

I'd watch it

But I doubt it happens. Both fighters are dangerous to each other, and each stands to make significantly more by waiting in line for a Klitschko.

so who do they fight to stay busy t?

assuming Wlad fights Povetkin, and Vitali fights Valuev, where do they go for the rest of the year?

Whoever

They’ll find scrubs. Haye might have more trouble, only because he was a Setanta fighter, so now he might need to face someone that HBO approves to get paid. HBO seems to be willing to pay to see Arreola fight any Tom, Dick and Harry, so I suspect that will stay the same. Probably someone washed up like Hasim Rahman or Lamon Brewster.

Excellent…

"Boxing is dirty," said Casamayor. " The day I’m not ready to be a dirty fighter is the day I don’t fight anymore because it will mean that I have no heart for it anymore."

I wonder who’s coming up with the big money John Ruiz will want to step aside as WBA mandatory?
