Around SBN: My First Fight: Diego Sanchez

Full fight: Kell Brook v. Michael Lomax from this past Saturday in Manchester. This was off-PPV. Great performance by Brook, who is one of Britain's brightest young stars.

Kell Brook was bound to win this....

It’s the method he did it in that impresses. I’ve watched Lomax a fair few times, he’s a classy, slick boxer, I didn’t expect Kell to be able to stick with him boxing wise – which he did throughout the first round. The power Kell has (at domestic level at least) looks amazing.

Still, he’s won his British Title outright now (THE best looking belt in the World)

Which looking at it now, seems like the Ring belt is nearly a direct rip off of it!

Can’t wait to see his career improve – really hope he is the goods.

He's still slick

But he’s also still on the slow side for his style, and doesn’t have great lateral movement. I feel like he could end up in big trouble if someone really commits to the body against him.
