Floyd Mayweather Sr. weighs in on his son's chances against Shane Mosley and Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Sr. says his son would beat both, and that Mosley just wants a big payday, while Pacquiao "has no skills."

But Mayweather Sr also said....
that Ricky Hatton would whup Pacquiao’s a*s…I think he needs to give credit where credit is due.The more he dismisses Pac, the larger the number of fans that root against him (and his son).

I think his clear decline as a trainer might have something to do with his illness, but the only fighter I’ve seen him praise besides “Lil’ Floyd” since the Hatton-Pacquiao fight has been Joshua Clottey.

The Clottey praise, by the way, came in the form of him saying that he thinks Cotto can beat Pacquiao, and that Cotto’s tough win in June didn’t change his mind, because Joshua Clottey (like the Wu-Tang Clan) “ain’t nothing to fuck with.”

to be fair
I normally don’t defend Floyd’s ridiculous nonsense but the Hatton fight would have been different if Hatton would have actually listened to Floyd (cough move your head cough). But really the sarcoidosis can’t really help him all that much with pad work or stuff like that, agreeing with SC here. I think Floyd sr. really just has something against pacman, didn’t he say that he was on steroids before the JMM v FMM fight.

Yeah, he said he thinks Manny’s taken steroids or supplements because of how well he’s been able to move up in weight. He said he thinks that about a lot of guys, and Jeff Mayweather actually said in an interview that it’s not just Floyd Sr. thinking that, he’s just the only one saying it. It’s a very reckless statement, and there was a rumbling that Pacquiao was considering legal action.

The one thing that this past weekend told me is that in my opinion, Floyd will beat Pac if they fight. Marquez hit Floyd a couple times early, and I don’t think it even came close to buzzing Floyd. I know I’m not really going out on a limb, but I think Floyd stops Pac.

difference between pacman and a fat jmm is well jmm clearly was never meant to fight above 130. pacquiao has proven to bring his speed and power with him up to at least 144. if money may makes another “catchweight” fight with pacquiao it wont’ be the same. i do fear that pacquiao will be UD though, but a stoppage is a bit much. pacquiao is every bit of warrior as JMM, and if mayweather hurt pacquaio i’m sure he won’t turn it on since he’ll probably be wary of getting into a war with him.

I see Pac coming forward with much more resolve/recklessness than JMM. Whether he wins or loses, and if I had to pick today I’d say Floyd wins, I think Pac v. Floyd ends before 12.
