The Finnish HW champion busted for doping
Jarno Rosberg (9-4, 4KO), the reigning Finnish heavyweight champion has been caught for using anabolic steroids. He tested positive in November 2009, in connection to the fight where he won the title via split decision against incumbent champion Juho Haapoja (11-3-1, 7KO).
The Finnish Pro Boxing Association will decide sanctions against Rosberg on Feb 1st. Should the association decide Rosberg is guilty of doping, he will at least lose his manager, Pekka Mäki.
The Finnish Pro Boxing Association does not use the anti-doping regulations established by the national anti-doping committee or WADA.
