Holyfield-Botha postponed
Shocking, eh? The fight has been postponed to mid-February, supposedly to give the promoters more time to promote. Not sure what's more surprising - that they can't sell out an 80,000 seat stadium in Uganda for a farce of a fight, or that the fight wasn't postponed because one of the fighters, whose ages add up nearly to 90, came down with some kind of injury. This is three fights in a row for Holyfield that has been delayed or canceled.

I was genuinely worried a little while ago that I'd have to watch Holyfield die in the ring.
Now I’m happier, because he can’t die in the ring if he never makes it into the ring in the first place!!

If the fight does ever happen, will it be the most ridiculous fight ever made? Holyfield, Botha, Uganda. Everything about it is ridiculous. To top it, you would need something like Tommy Hearns vs. Butterbean on the Moon.

"Botha-Holy" just might rock......
The promoters are high as a kite if they want to stage this fight in Uganda at a stadium that holds 80,000 people……. First of all, Uganda is a crappy country to hold a fight, and the natives there ain’t got a friggin’ nickel to pay for a ticket…….. The live-gate is gonna take a massive dump in the crapper……. Whoever is promoting must be relying on the PPV outlets……….. And them PPV’s will be available at a reduced cost, as well…… Botha and Holy are looking at earning bread crumbs once all the reciepts are totalized and the smoke has cleared……….
