2. Excessive, unnecessary profanity: We’re not prudes, but if you think for a second, “Maybe I shouldn’t say that,” then probably phrase it some other way. There will be excused profanity limits in times of great elation (an amazing fight in a live thread) or great disgust (a truly awful decision in a live thread).
You’re well within the boundaries. I drop my share of f-bombs in the comments.

Not that Groves isn’t showing some real grit here, and he just won with a great push, but I don’t want to hear again that he’s better than DeGale.

Maybe so but better to see him way he is now rather than drift further into the gutter.
I don’t know him but I’ve met him and he’s genuine enough to me.
Don’t worry, strike, you’re not alone. I like the fat t**t too and am glad to see him looking better.

Ok
i admit i wouldn’t want to see Ricky in a bad way.I just want him to retire and go away.
He’s been overexposed, imo,(thankfully not in the literal sense).
To be honest i didn’t even catch the shot of him on tv as my stream keeps freezing.
She’s prettier than he is, too.

I have nothing in the world against Kenny Anderson, but calling him a more live opponent than a few of the guys DeGale has faced is just silly. Anderson’s never beaten anyone. DeGale beat the hell out of Dilks, who was a lot more “live” than Kenny Anderson.

Some sort of bickering about gloves backstage as Hayemaker tried to give everyone shitty gloves, according to Eddie Hearn. Hearn says the WBA inspector found extra padding in the glove Hayemaker gave Harrison, and the other one had a deformed knuckle. So the WBA and the BBBofC refused the gloves, and now they’re just using regular gloves I guess.
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Sounded more like they were trying to soften Harrison’s gloves. According to Audley’s promoter, anyway. Keep in mind that it’s according to Audley’s promoter.

Can’t believe how much filler Sky use.
I watched this Tyson interview earlier and Jonny Nelson was just misunderstanding what Mike was saying about Haye’s faults.
This bout will set the record for most braids in a boxing match…..doesn’t compare to the Dallas Cowboys’ defensive backfield, but still…a record.
I hope this fight’s better than their secondary.

They do it for the rugby too.
I like that show
but yea, it does have that weird “devils advocate” thing going on.
"Yes Gina, I am a Wise Cracker"
To listen to Nelson’s forced argument, you’d believe this is the first time Haye has given up weight in a fight. Valuev outweighed him by 99 pounds, and Harrison ain’t that much more mobile than Valuev.
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Saying that
this really is Audley’s last chance so if he can’t get up for this and make a fight,he really should never have gone pro.
What “high pace” has Audley Harrison EVER pushed? This is up there for worst forced opinions sent down from TV brass I’ve ever heard. I feel bad for Johnny. He doesn’t believe what he’s saying.

Referee’s instructions! Here we go!
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Haye-Harrison R1

Audley does look much, much bigger than Haye once they’re in there together. Jeez. Nobody punching in the first 40 seconds. Haye shoots a 1-2, but it’s short. Haye showing a jab to the body, not landing it. Flicking his left hand out. No action in the first minute. Audley doing nothing at all besides moving around. Harrison backs away when Haye feints a charge. No action in the first 1:30. Haye charges with a right, it doesn’t land. Harrison lands a jab. Nothing but that jab in the first minute. Harrison backing himself into the ropes. Haye feinting a ton. Very Sergio Mora! That means he’s good defensively. Haye almost lands a jab, but not quite.
And a round goes by with basically 0 punches landed. Crowd boos.
10-10
Can I give it 4-4?

"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."

Haye-Harrison R2

Well, they’re throwing in the first 30 seconds this time, so that’s nice. And then they stop. Oh and nothing landed. Haye makes a charge, and might have gotten half of a right hand in there. Harrison is flying back whenever Haye makes a rush at him. He might consider just going nuts, but that would probably be fighting dumb, so I can’t blame him. And there’s still nothing going on — shit, the referee just stopped the “action” to tell them to consider fighting at some point.
Audley backpedals when Haye comes at him again. Haye seems to want him on the ropes. Haye firing rights. Audley covers up and gets away. Audley doesn’t want to exchange with him at all. Audley has no confidence whatsoever. Now at least Haye’s throwing a few punches. Not landing much of anything, but at least he’s doing anything.
Haye 10-9
Haye 20-19
This is hilariously wretched.

Haye lands a right, and Harrison is backing away. Haye with body shots. Harrison is doing absolutely nothing at all. This is pathetic, and exactly what should have been feared. BIG RIGHT hurts Harrison! But then he covers up. Haye pressing now. RATTLING HARRISON WITH BIG SHOTS! That right hand is landing at will now. Harrison is getting killed AND DOWN GOES THE TREE!
What’s the point of this now? Just stay down. Harrison gets up. Here comes Haye, and he’s all over Harrsion! BIG RIGHT AND THE REFEREE STOPS IT!

first 2 rds, but then Haye came alive and took out a passive Harrison with a barrage of punches…. Harrison appeared frozen from the getgo, and Haye wasn’t much better early on, either…. Round 3, Haye goes all out and waxes Harrison…. Yes, Harrison was dropped and he got up slowly, but I thought the stoppage by the ref was little quick…. Jesus H….. Still, Harrison didn’t have it from the opening bell….. Cheers……

The difference between Audrey and Paul Briggs is that A-Farce has been just that his whole career! :)
Who won the Four Nations today anyway,i missed it? :)
um, England beat Australia, I heard
and SA got Wales in the last minute. NZ were crushing Scotland early

All jokes aside,
Bazza Mac is spot on, I think Johnny Nelson has been taking the same fantasyland pills as Harrison.
Folks, I really believe now
that Leon Spinks deserves more credit as a pro heavyweight fighter than that of Audley Harrison…. Leon Spinks lost MOST of his big fights, but he was still tougher than anything that Audley Harrison has ever displayed in the ring… This 3rd TKO loss tonight really looks bad for “A-Farce.”
Damn. Just think of it, I prayed to the Egyptian god Amon Ra and to the goddess Isis earlier today to help assist Harrison to victory.. I suppose Amon Ra and Isis felt team Harrison wasn’t worthy enough to be guided to victory.?.?

Leon
would have chewed Audrey up and spat him out, along with his two front teeth.
Man,Leon was one ugly bastard though!
Good Ol' Leon Stinks
owns a pro record of 26-17-3 (14) KO’s…… His last fight was in 1995 and Leon lost to some dude named Fred Houpe…….. GOOD LORD!!
Looking through Boxrec, I gotta say that Leon Stinks lost to at least half a dozen dude’s he should’ve been able to beat had he been focused and better handled….
Christ, Leon lost four fights in a row from 1987 to 1988…. Some bad years there…. UGH!
