Floyd Mayweather Jr. Accused Again of Assault in Las Vegas
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is back in the news today, as the biggest American star in boxing has been accused of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly attempting to force a vehicle off the road in Las Vegas.
The accuser is Quincey Williams, who was the man in the car last year at the Crystal Palace Skating Center when a Mayweather associate opened fire on the vehicle. Williams has in the past accused Mayweather of ordering the shooting, and says that Mayweather had threatened him beforehand.
This time, Williams says Mayweather's Bentley did a U-turn and "tried to run him off the road." Williams says that Mayweather "feels like he's entitled to do whatever he wants and get away with it."
Mayweather has not been arrested, but police took the report. If it is found to be a valid accusation, Mayweather could be in more serious trouble than ever. He's currently out on bail on felony and misdemeanor charges of domestic violence, and recently was accused of misdemeanor battery by a security guard in his gated community.

Wonder how many people remember him?
I don't take personal insults well. My wires are such so that when it happens, i'm not going to put on head gear, lace up the gloves and put in the mouthpiece. I'm going to drop the gloves and just let the adrenaline take off.
This is almost too ridiculous not to be true

Didn't the original beef start because
Williams sent Mayweather a nasty text before a fight?
The Mayweathers have all that talent and not one ounce of common sense between the lot of them. (Except maybe Jeff, he’s normal, right?)

Jeff is agreat guy and very smart to boot.

Anyone else remember when we used to occasionally discuss Floyd actually fighting?

You know what,
I actually don’t remember Floyd’s ‘boxing’ being a topic on here. Now, I’m not sure if it’s cos there hasn’t been any, or just because it’s usually negative stuff when there is.

I wonder if...
HBO will host fights from inside a prison. How many people do you think a prison canteen could hold?

Ha ha, that would be cool, kinda like Johnny Cash’s prison concerts.

Seems like
this guy Mayweather is trying everthing to avoid fighting Pacquiao.
Maybe Michael Buffer was right. :)

Thanks for the link.

Good memory for bringing up the psychic prediction there.

Mayweather, seriously, needs help. If nothing else, he’s clearly developed a heavy rageahol dependency. Send in Intervention or something.

Ok, who is this Quincy Williams anyway, that Floyd and his people seem so determined to whack him? Seriously, just some guy who burned him in a text message?
That's what I want to know.
Google search turns up some links like he’s a boxer maybe, but I didn’t see anything on boxrec. Besides the text, I haven’t heard much.

Hmm. Does he play basketball?

Oh, I just saw he is a
guy that was kicked out of Floyd’s entourage.

Man
What’s going with him? The guy has been going into a downward spiral since this past summer.

There has been (mostly anonymous) chatter this year that Mayweather has always been like this, but mostly hid it well. He’s had his problems in the past too, of course.

It seems like he almost has a sort of American Psycho type personality. Capable of alternating at a moment’s notice between charm and antisocial behavior. That creepy mugshot photo, in particular, gives off that vibe.
That's exactly what I think
He’s been getting away with it for years, and having a hell of a time figuring out that the thing with the kids put him outside the pale in ways he didn’nt think could happen to him. But he’s a very classic type, imo, of psychopath, except they’re not usually as gifted at anything as he is at boxing. Those guys are all over the place, and they aren’t that curable.

Sort of Tony Soprano-esque, maybe?
Feeding the ducks one minute, homocidal the next…
Such were the days, still, hot, heavy, disappearing one by one into the past, as if falling into an abyss for ever open in the wake of the ship; and the ship, lonely under a wisp of smoke, held on her steadwast way black and smouldering in a luminous immensity, as if scorched by a flame flicked at her from a heaven without pity.

More like Marlo Stanfield.
No scruples whatsoever, doesn’t care about the rest of the world one iota, and loves to feed his pigeons on the weekend while discussing who needs to get clipped and put up in one of the abandoned row-houses. He also liked to thumb his nose at authority, and do it whenever the opportunity presented itself.
Tony Soprano at least had the common courtesy to make a big deal out of when he had someone killed. Having them beaten or shaken down was no big thing, but he usually seemed to be pained when he had to take a life. Plus, Tony tried very hard to fly under the radar most of the time.
sociopathic?

I love the way you defended Tony there. Truly one of the great hero-villains just about ever.
