If Marquez was 2 or 3 years younger, even with the wars he’s been in,i would consider picking him to take this one.He is by far the most talented and accomplished fighter Lopez has faced and i think he at least matches Lopez for speed and power but actually tops him with ability/talent.
Lopez has youth and hunger on his side though, plus he has good punch variety.
I still think he gets off balance when throwing though and holes can certainly be found in his defence (as they can with Marquez’).
I might yet be tempted to have a little wager on Rafa.
After all crossroads fights don’t always go the way of the young up and comer.
Marquez odds are wider than they should be,imo. He is a 3-1 underdog on the site i use.
I think those odds sound about proper, honestly. Plus odds are just to make bookies money anyway.

Sometimes,maybe.
But if that were always the case then why have they got Matthysse at only 6/4 to beat Judah.
I am not really a gambler and just have the odd fun boxing bet here and there but i usually find the bookies odds are about right.
Thats why i was a bit suprised to see how close they have Judah v Matthysse.
I mean, you previewed it as being a fairly one sided fight for Zab.
Maybe they think Zab’s gonna fade late on?
There are plenty who think Zab will fade if he can’t get it done in five or six, and there’s definitely history to back that up. I just think Matthysse isn’t near good enough.
