Photos: Showtime Bantamweights Weigh In On Friday
Tonight in Tacoma, Wash., Showtime goes live with a bantamweight double-header that should pack plenty of excitement and action. Yesterday, the four fighters weighed in.
IBF titlist Yonnhy Perez came in at 118 on the button, with challenger Joseph Agbeko a half-pound lighter than that for their rematch, which will be the second fight on the show. In the opener for one of those silly WBC silver belts, Vic Darchinyan weighed in at 118, with Abner Mares at 117½.
The card is live at 9pm ET, delayed on the west coast. We'll have live round-by-round coverage tonight.

What makes the silver title even more ridiculous
is that the winner will be fighting for the IBF title. So they’ll be stripped of it immediately. But apparently the WBC don’t realise that.

The entire Showtime card replays after the HBO card. Since I don’t have TiVO or a DVR, I’ll probably watch the HBO card live and the Showtime card on replay, which means I’ll likely miss you all in the live thread, unfortunately.

All dressed up, waiting for my ride so we can grab a bite to eat, get some drink in us, and catch most of the undercard.
I am pumped. I’ll make a soft prediction on UD for Perez and TKO-10 for Darchinyan.
right about what I've got too
I’m very confident Perez beats Agbeko again, the other fight could go either way I think. Should be a good one.
