Floyd Mayweather Sr. talking about Manny Pacquiao yet again, this time with Rick Reeno of BoxingScene.com:

"It's not a steroid. It's something from the Philippines. Something they use in the army. When you hit the guy with a .45 or a .38 and they keep coming after they get shot. Whatever it is it has to be something strong for you to keep coming forward after you get shot."

(alternate joke)

The Toad Style is immensely strong and immune to nearly any weapon. When it’s properly used, it’s almost invincible…

Thankfully, we have the countermeasure on file:

There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt.

Laughable and Ridiculous

and all it just showsis just how impressed the Mayweather’s are with Manny.

Senior is not Junior

Senior doesn’t speak for Junior.

Jr has admitted that Manny has done some amazing things.

I think he missed the point

Mayweather Sr’s comment here really is hilrious! If you inject these Phillipino soldiers with it do they become like this?

I still think Mayweather would exploit Manny’s mistakes, but then again Manny would bring pressure and unorthodox speed like Mayweather hasn’t seen before.

Sometimes I can't decide if the Mayweathers are incredibly savvy …

… or indescribably dumb.

Although detractors decry (MMA) as a brutal, bloody form of human cockfighting, aficionados know it is a brutal, bloody, totally fucking awesome form of human cockfighting. -The Onion

no disrespect to the servicemen of the Philipines, but I don’t think they are invulnerable. Are they? Inquiring minds demand to know…

by FrankinDallas on Feb 26, 2010 6:51 PM EST reply actions

Yeah, and how does Floyd Sr know so much about the Phillipino army anyhow?:).

5th paragraph down under “History”

From what I remember, it has to do with rebel soldiers whipping themselves into a frenzy before entering battle. Also, they would tie various parts of their body really tight to induce numbness. I don’t know much about the drugs they took. They were basically suicide shock troops.

Oh, and Sr. is an idiot.

WTF??

I’m thinkin’ Sr. has seen too many John Wayne movies. So theres a substance known only to Filipinos that allows a man to be shot with 45. caliber bullets and theres no effect. Is he F’in serious, why does anyone even give this guy a chance to make a fool of himself again and again? NSAC should test him before allowing him in the corner of any fighter ever again,…unbelieveable. I would say what a source of embarassment he must be to the Mayweather family, but well I’m not sure its possible to do anything that could embarass that disfunctional clan. Peace!!

These invinvible shock troops are the reason that we are all speaking Filipino right now.

Well, obviously they weren’t quite invincible. But they were formidable enough for the US troops stationed in the country to request for more powerful firearms.

Incidentally, did it at all occur to you that your comment is a little bit offensive?

Manny loves that A-side Meth

Seriously, Roger was talking about it before too. Completely ridiculous.

No wonder the americans invented water boarding to fight the filipinos. Bastards wouldn’t die.

Irrefutable proof that

boxing intelligence does not necessarily = any other recognizable form of intelligence.

Then again, Floyd Sr. stood as proof of that long before he ever mentioned the Philippines.

as a filipino person

I am extremely interested in this. I, too, would like to be invulnerable to those specific calibers
