They're usually pretty good over there
But I don’t think you can order the webcast if you’re in the US. I think it’s just non-US/Philippines/Mexico that can order the GFL PPV.

Just for background
I’ve bought about 5 or 6 cards on GFL, and I only had problems with one of them, and those problems were on the fight side (the sound cut out for about a half hour).

Just ordered. Graham Houston agrees with your picks on Mayol and Sonsona, can’t be a bad thing!
Graham’s the most underrated boxing writer there is, IMO.

Yeah, I'm in England so it should be fine

Vazquez-Sonsona R1
Tentative first minute from both. Both guys kinda pawing and not quite ready to engage. Sonsona throwing down the pipe. Vazquez looks a bit more reluctant than Sonsona so far. Sonsona whipping the lefts, but not connecting. Slow first round, not much going, but Sonsona was a bit more aggressive.
Sonsona 10-9
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Sonsona 10-9
Wide round. I’m not sure Vazquez actually landed a punch. Of course, in Puerto Rico, because Sonsona didn’t score a knockout, that’s probably a 10-9 round for Vazquez.
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
I love how Bob spends a minute explaining how to tell Sonsona and Vazquez apart
when he could just say “Sonsona is the Asian one”
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
Vazquez-Sonsona R2
Sonsona looks a lot faster, but he gets clipped there by Vazquez barely. Vazquez is not looking eager to engage. I think Sonsona’s speed is worrying him a little bit. This is not to say that Marvin is especially aggressive, but he’s much more so. Sonsona gets in a bad spot, Vazquez tries to open up, and Sonsona ties him up right. Vazquez starting to clip Sonsona more and more. He’s backing Sonsona down pretty well with his right hand. I think he’s been looking for openings and is seeing htem. Straight right by Vazquez gets in.
Vazquez 10-9
19-19

Sonsona has a mark under his left eye.
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Vazquez-Sonsona R3
Vazquez gets the better of an early round exchange. Sonsona is feeling Vazquez’s power some, I think. Vazquez seems like he’s trying to lead now to neutralize Sonsona’s speed, which is a good idea to be sure. Sonsona turns himself around into bad positions a bit too often. Two left hooks to the body by Vazquez, but Sonsona comes back with his speed, only to have Vazquez slip those shots. Vazquez is looking more and more confident.
Left to the body by Sonsona, then shots upstairs are blocked. Sonsona warned for using his forearms to shove Vazquez. Left hook to the body again by Vazquez, then one shakes Sonsona upstairs. Vazquez hammering at hte end of the round with Sonsona covering up. Big round for Vazquez.
Vazquez 10-9
Vazquez 29-28
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Vazquez round again
Sonsona just seems too tentative. Which is the last thing he seemed a few fights ago. He has the advantages if he lets his hands go, but he just isn’t doing it.
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
Vazquez-Sonsona R4
Vazquez has definitely become the stalker. Sonsona backs himself up to the ropes and gets his arms up again. Left hand by Vazquez, Sonsona spins it around and Vazquez ties him up. Tactically, Vazquez is sort of taking Sonsona to school now. He just looks a lot smarter.
Vazquez pressuring and landing with both hands. That right hand is breaking the guard. Sonsona is doing nothing offensively. He’s got to let his hands go. BIG RIGHT SNAPS SONSONA’S HEAD BACK! DOWN GOES SONSONA ON A BODY SHOT!
HE MAY NOT MAKE IT!
HE WILL NOT!

I think he was looking for the exit. I don’t blame him cuz he was getting beat, but I don’t think that punch really put him down as much as he just went down.

Estrada’s is worse. Estrada is also starting to get tagged like all hell.

Everyone watching is welcome. My blowing off RBR for this fight guaranteed it would be good, I think.

I know this isn’t the thread for it. but I love Showtimes fight camp series…
Abraham is a pretty cool dude…
"Boxing is dirty," said Casamayor. " The day I’m not ready to be a dirty fighter is the day I don’t fight anymore because it will mean that I have no heart for it anymore."
it's a thread for whatever
That show is really good. It’s so much more … I dunno … real than “24/7”. I love 24/7 too, but it’s reality TV with storylines and predictable stuff and it is what it is.

24/7 panders to the non boxing fan nowadays….
Fight Camp isn’t… God Bless Hershman for making something for the fight fans out there.
"Boxing is dirty," said Casamayor. " The day I’m not ready to be a dirty fighter is the day I don’t fight anymore because it will mean that I have no heart for it anymore."
Rivero is getting a point taken? … between rounds?
Jesus Christ.
48-46 Rivero

This guy's punches are crazy
All angles, completely wild. If Estrada knew how to block punches, he’d be in decent shape, but he keeps blocking the punches with his face.
Judge deducts a point from Rivero for no reason.

hey. YEAH.
What the fuck are they talking about?

They did it earlier, too
The Col. said that the field goal kicker should be quiet as either McBronson or McJoe Arroyo might hear him
Rivero looks like he might be gassing out. This was a heroic effort if it goes the way it looks like it is.

But it wasn’t a distant round. Rivero just seems to be running out of gas a bit.
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog

Yeah Rivero’s gassing. But Jesus Christ he keeps throwing.
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Again!
Rivero gets wobbled, and he starts throwing like crazy, lands a few big left hooks
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
WTF Rivero unleashes giant shots every time he’s hurt.
Bad Left Hook

I think that's about over with too
Nevermind, here he comes again. My God.

Round 7
and Rivero clinches for the first time. Estrada now seems to be in control, finally. 67-65 Estrada.

I'm guessing Rivero goes down this round

If this isn’t fight of the night, Mayol-Nino is going to be killer.

10-9 round for Rivero
Came back with a vengeance that round. Every time he gets hurt, he starts to kick ass. He seemed like he had nothing left, then out of nowhere came with a bunch of bombs.
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
You know, Escalante-Roman kicked ass. This is better, I think. I’m loving this fight.

I’m not giving Estrada enough credit, either. He’s landed plenty and is also tougher than leather. This fight is great.
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Holyu crap
Seriously, every time this guy gets hurt, he just comes back even harder. The ref almost looks like he WANTS to jump in and stop the fight, and Rivero just won’t let him.
The commentators both gave the round to Estrada, but I gave it to Rivero again.
85-85
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
It’s the 10th round. Let Rivero finish what he started. He’s put on a hell of a performance. Get the doctors out.
Bad Left Hook

WAHT THE FUCK?
WHAT A HORRIBLE BULLSHIT STOPPAGE
FUCK YOU
Daniel Estrada TKO-10
Awful. AWFUL.

Of for fuck's sake
Horrible stoppage. I knew he looked like he wanted to jump in there.
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog

Rivero's in the middle of throwing a punch when the ref walks in
Even the crowd is booing
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog

Absolutely fucking obscene. HE WAS THROWING PUNCHES
Anyone want to argue that there’s nothing fishy there?

I don’t even care. That was an all-time terrible stoppage.

What the hell!?
That stoppage sucked. The Colonel’s trying to defend it, but it was garbage.

Sheridan is so full of shit here. I respect Bob Sheridan, but no.

"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
I hate the whole 'protect the shield' bullshit
The kicker seemed to tone it down a bit too after his initial reaction. Farcical
they should have a prop bet on this one for a technical draw
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
10-9 Nino
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
Mayol-Nino R1
Both guys active but not landing in the opening minute. More of the same in the second minute. Nothing clean landing. The headbutts are going to come, by the way. That’s the most obvious thing so far.
Speed-wise, they look about even. Nino with some shots at the end, I think he barely takes it.
Nino 10-9
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Nino is hurt
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
Mayol-Nino R2
Mayol is swarming! Nino is hurt. There’s a right again. Uppercut is landing big. Nino is getting overwhelmed! Mayol is laying into him hard, but then Nino pushes him back. Here comes Nino. Man Nino stood up to that stuff. Mayol knocks him back again. Mayol is just firing and firing and firing. This is a good start to this fight. Good thing Roberto Ramirez isn’t the ref, it’d be over.
Ref is Vic Drakulich, for the record.
Mayol is definitely seeking the knockout. He’s got a ton of confidence brewing. Big round for Mayol.
Mayol 10-9
19-19

Great round for Mayol
But Nino showed some guts there too
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
Mayol-Nino R3
Nino getting some left hooks scraping in there. Nino doing much better this round, especially defensively. Mayol gets that left uppercut again. OH DOWN GOES MAYOL AND HE IS OUT!
HE IS ABSOLUTELY OUT!
I didn’t see what happened.
Omar Nino KO-3
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
WTF HAPPENED?
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
I wonder if this is going to be a DQ
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
That’s gonna get changed to a NC. It has to.
They’ve got Mayol in a neck brace.
Bad Left Hook
"To the town of Agua Fria rode a stranger one fine day..."
Nino low blows Mayol
Draculich is jumping in to stop the action, but as Vic is grabbing him, he throws a huge left hook that knocks out Mayol cold. Borderline call there. Should either be a DQ or a NC probably.
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
Appropriate for Mayol to lose his belt on a foul
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
New Champion!? This is a farce. He clearly knew he’d landed low, and he followed up anyway.
TheBoxingBulletin.com
I can’t blame Nino, really. He didn’t see Drakulich coming behind him. This is very unfortunate.

Shouldn't really be a DQ either
Not really the same as Luevano-Concepcion
Bad Left Hook - The SB Nation boxing blog
"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."
Regadless if he saw him or not. He had to have known he had landed low and the shot had done the damage, and with Mayol clearly grimacing and turning away… it’s just shitty sporsmanship to follow through. It’s almost like hitting a guy who’s clearly down, just because the ref doesn’t get in there in time.
TheBoxingBulletin.com
It looks like Draculich is gonna call it a NC
