While the Pacquiao-Clottey analysis isn't over yet, it's also time to move forward. Gorilla Productions consistently puts up the best fan trailers for boxing events that you'll ever find. Here's GP's trailer for the May 1 fight between Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

My only complaint is that they didn’t get Lamps to do the BANG,BANG,BANG’s! :)

It was an instructional video of when to use the word ‘BANG.’ Lampley should watch this video to see what kind of punches deserve the word ‘BANG.’

That's maybe GP's best video

And that’s saying something!

Yeah I'm pumped for this fight

But if you think that Shane is too old, it’s best to say it now. Don’t come back after the fight and complain about an age mismatch like some are inclined to do.

Every fighter has a game plan until he get's punched in the mouth.

It’s wrong to analyze a fight after it happens as well as before?

Let me get this out of the way now: Mosley’s old. He’s a 38 year old boxer. I don’t know now if that will be a major factor, or if Floyd will just beat him because Floyd’s better than him (and Floyd is better, IMO), but he’s old.

Nobody seemed to think of Mosley as old when he challenged Mayweather to a fight.

It was more of “Mayweather has never fought a legitimate top welter.” Now that he’s called everyone’s bluff, everyone starts throwing old, washed up, has-been, too slow, et cetera.

However, 38 is old. Mosley is a young-38. Though, I still choose Mayweather to by UD.

Dude settle down. People have been calling Mosley old for years. Mosley was considered to be too old for the Margo fight before he shocked everyone and won the fight. Do you know why it was a shock? Because everyone thought he was too old! At his age Mosley has the potential to get real old in the ring, real fast. Does this mean that the Mosley that beat Margo won’t be there? No? As SC said, dude is 38. That pretty old for a welterweight….

Plus he looked really old against Mayorga

I’m not saying Mosley should be discredited because of age. But he’s old. I mean, the guy’s old.

Here’s the thing: it can be true that he’s old, or too slow, but Floyd (and no offense, his more defensive fans) always goes on about “haters” having “excuses.” I don’t hate Floyd. I don’t have excuses why he beats guys so easily. I like Mayweather just fine, enjoy watching him work his craft, and am often left in awe of his talent. And I’m really excited that he’s fighting Shane.

What people have after fights (outside of the loonies that actually do hate him) are not excuses, but reasons. Analysis. When you say “Floyd was just better than Marquez” and I say “Marquez was too small and too old and too slow,” we’re saying the same thing, just differently. Mayweather is better than Marquez. He’s better than Hatton. He’s better than everyone he’s fought so far. Are you going to reason with me that somehow one of the reasons Floyd manhandled Gatti is not that Gatti was too slow for him? I’m calling Mayweather fast just as much as calling Gatti slow.

Mayweather makes these fighters look this way. It’s actually not the horrible thing he thinks it is for someone to say “he was too slow for Floyd.”

I think the point is that, as you said, there’s no way of knowing before the fight whether Mosley’s age will be a major factor in this fight. It might be, it might not be. We just have to watch the fight to find out.

Mosley is certainly not as good as he was when he was 28 (how could be?), but I don’t think that matters. The question is: Is he still a great fighter, and thus, is a win over him still a great win? Obviously, if Mayweather were to dominate Mosley, it would be a mistake to assume automatically that Mosley was just shot and so the win doesn’t mean much. Conversely, if Mayweather were to dominate Mosley, it would also be a mistake to assume automatically that Mosley was still great and that Mayweather must have just “made him look old.” It all just depends. An educated boxing observer watching the fight closely would be able to determine how much of Mayweather’s superiority was because of his own greatness and how much, if anything, was because of Mosley’s decline. A great fighter dominating an unworthy opponent looks very different from an ATG dominating another great fighter, and educated boxing fans can tell the difference.

In the promotional video

There is the Mayweather-Kenny (Jack of all trades master of nothing Brain Kenny) interview! I have watched this video maybe 5 times as opposed to Mosley who has lost 5 times (clap clap clap). Any word on the undercard for this fight? Danny Jacobs and Saul Alverez but any word on opposition?

this is the greatest fight trailer I have ever seen in my life.
