"Never, ever, ever have I been involved with a fighter who has so much one punch punching power. Even guys that knock somebody out—they get them hurt, they knock them down, they get them groggy—Wladimir is the only fighter I’ve ever worked with that everything can be normal like a big party—everybody is having champagne, on the floors, in the tuxedos, with the music—and the lights go off completely at one time. I mean it’s not like a gradual dimmer switch."

I contend that Manny is going senile.
And also that Lennox, Vitali, Tua, or Tyson, in recent years, could all be argued to have more one-punch power than Wlad.
Now, Tweek, boxing is a Man sport. There is nothing in the world more Man than boxing. It is Man at his most Man. So when you spar with Ned here, just dig deep into that most Man part of you. (Uncle Jimbo, South Park: Tweek vs Craig)
“Of all the guys he’s worked with,” he said. Only Lennox qualifies for comparison based on that.
And no way does Vitali has more one-punch stopping power than Wlad. Not a chance, not the way Vitali throws his punches.

Well,
Manny, like all of us, says things. And he means many of them.
And he might mean a lot more in a particular moment. But if Tommy Hearns was 6’6 and weighed 250-something pounds, people would be flying out of the arena, IMO.
I just liked the way he said it, actually: "normal like a big party—everybody is having champagne, on the floors, in the tuxedos, with the music—and the lights go off completely at one time. I don’t know whether Manny believes this or not, I just like that image of a one-punch knockout. Champagne, music… hey what happened to the lights?!

It is a great
metaphor. You’d mentioned it before and I like reading it in full.
I appreciate any image that makes me see something in a new way.
