I wondering how the ticket sales
are doing? I know we were closing in on 45K a week ago, how’s that look now?
If they do sell 45K, is that an unmitigated success for the live gate?
"Yes Gina, I am a Wise Cracker"
well, in sense they got 45k people there
then yes. but apparently the ticket price is less…. so….
Just to quantify that a little bit, on StubHub, the Pac-Clottey fight is going for $45 at the cheapest. On the other hand the cheapest Mosley-May ticket on StubHub is $372. Huge difference right there and that is the cheapest tix.
That'll change IMO
I see big price drops and comps for Mayweather-Mosley.
I wouldn’t be suprised if Pac turned out to be the incredible hulk in a very good disguise. - Sigidy

They can't sell the cheap seats in the stadium for much more (if at all more) than the price of watching on PPV
Face value of those tickets is only $50. They’re still getting a decent site fee for the event though.

I think it’s close to the high-end of what they expected and what they should reasonable have expected. It also says a lot about Manny Pacquiao’s name value, because nobody knows who the hell Joshua Clottey is.
It’s a success, but even with about 30,000 less fans, Mayweather-Mosley is going to do a bigger gate.

I don't want to disrespect anybody or anything. California is going to decide on Wednesday and then whichever way California decides, various state commissions will decide whichever way they think is best."
