Jamie Moore retires
After a recent loss to Sergei Khomitski, Jamie Moore has decided to call it a career. He retires at 32-5, and during that span, he won the British title, the Commonwealth title and the European title. He will probably be best remembered for some of his wars, including his 10th round knockout victory over Matthew Macklin, which may have been the best British fight of the last decade. He was a classy guy, and he's leaving the sport with a touch of class as well. Happy trails Jamie, and best of luck to you in your future endeavours.

Not worthy of a separate post, and not enough is going on today for an Eight Count, but it looks like the undercard fight for Cotto-Foreman is close to being set, and either way it should be a good one. Mike Jones will face either Antwone Smith or Luis Carlos Abregu.

I guess I'll just keep jamming stuff in the comments until I have enough for an 8-count
Not a surprise, but they officially announced they’ll be showing Mayweather-Mosley in movie theaters…

As Brick says "Jamie Moore - all class"
Good luck to the Salford lad – Check out Moore v Michael Jones for the British light middle title. Jamie was DQ’d in their second encounter but did the business in the third fight.
