As Booth acting as if he was so important that him and Haye had other, better options worth considering. I’m pretty sure that this fight does get made this year though.

That’s a big part of it really. His fight with Valuev was marketed very well as a spectacle, exhibition and “great accomplishment” that everyone was talking about it. I very quickly got very fed up explaining that Haye wasn’t the Heavyweight champion of the world!

Sack up or shut up, guys. If you’re not willing to fight either of them, and I have no reason to believe he actually is at this point, then go on about your career. Haye against a Klitschko is not going to get any bigger than it already is. They will sell the same amount of tickets and make the same money now that they will if Haye beats such stalwarts and money-makers as Ruslan Chagaev, Kali Meehan or Valuev, so I won’t buy any of this “build it up” nonsense either. The fight is not getting bigger.
