Well Done
Sergio Martinez.
I would pick him over Williams in the rematch.
Looking forward to that one too.
Congrats on your prediction!

Matt
Did you manage to catch a stream of tha fight?

No,i didn't mate.
I don’t like them to be honest, especially at 3 in the morning.I like to watch on a clear tv picture so i am happy reading the reports and waiting for the dvd.
Me neither
The stupid thing is, is even though I can’t watch a big fight in the early hours, I always seem to wake up and end up reading about it on my iPod . Can’t sleep til I get the result. Then I’m pissed off cos it spoils it if I do get to watch it on delay!

Yes I did,
And I have to say, as good as the result was, Haye looked awkward/off balance and appeared tired quite early. Still good though. What did you think?
by Phill on Apr 18, 2010 4:05 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions
Yeah,
he does look clumsy and awkward when he triees to load up sometimes but i like his speed, power and improved movement/defence.
I really think he needs to replace Booth with Freddie Roach to refine his technique.
Where has Booth even sprung up from?I had never heard of him till Haye.
That’s what i think the UK lacks. We have some very good fighters but the best trainers are all in the US,imo.
To be honest i didn’t think the stamina was a big worry but i might be wrong.
He looked a bit gassed at one stage but then started to pace himself.
The at times clumsy/awkwardness and rabbit punching were more of a problem for me.He will get the point deducted for that regularly or even DQ’d if he carries on doing it.
Yep I forgot bout the rabbit punches.
They won’t like that in the States. I seem to remember Bruno getting a ticking off by Richard Steele (I think) for the same when fighting Tyson.
