Don George has a traditional Greek haircut. Ted Sares wears his hair the exact same way.

wtf, Now there’s promos for Nurse Jackie :)

what a body shot ended the first fight. Rodriguez is lucky he didn’t get laid out though with that limp left arm.

this isn’t half bad now. George seems to have decent power if he had the stamina to throw more. Right now he’s getting tagged too much. He caught the dude at the end of the 6th though.

What they've shown has looked like a good brawl

Neither guy can defend themselves to save their lives, but they’re both teeing off on each other.

"Baseball is played on the field, not on a calculator."

by Brickhaus on May 1, 2010 12:14 AM EDT reply actions

yeah, they don’t tighten up the defense and their punches are too wide. George’s stamina sucks, but high work rate in this fight… at least the 10 minutes we got to see

A promise is comfort to a fool.

by ShadowMask on May 1, 2010 12:16 AM EDT up reply actions

I believe George is only a couple fights off of a stint in prison

which would explain the stamina somewhat

I want to see the first half of the fight though, but no way that should happen. I think they need a new policy of never having home town judges. This happens way too much now.

I agree on the mullet. but there’s no way that was a legit card from the Chicago judge.

this fight turned into a real snoozer didn’t it.

Edwards just never did anything.

"Yes Gina, I am a Wise Cracker"

by lcollins1 on May 1, 2010 1:04 AM EDT reply actions

I liked it’s tactical nature, but yeah it slowed way too much. When Johnson turned up the heat and put a few punches together he was catching Edwards, but he didn’t seem to care to do it frequently. Edwards had pretty good defense but his offense was pretty stale.

A promise is comfort to a fool.
