FINAL Update (7:50pm EDT): The entire card has been canceled. They planned to go ahead with a Ninja Rua-David Heath main event, but apparently the commission just called off the show. That's horrible for all the fighters who worked and spent money in camp to get here, and now don't even get their payday. All in all, I do understand where King is coming from, but getting this into court on the Saturday of the show seems pretty bizarre. And the fact of the matter is, King and Mayorga don't see eye-to-eye and there's zero business future for them together, perhaps especially now. All this did was screw over a bunch of people when it really wouldn't have hurt King in any way. This is typical slime.

Update (2:02pm EDT): Josh Gross of SI has another tweet that says that Shine is planning to ignore the injunction and go ahead with the fight. This would put them in contempt, and DKP would surely sue them to smithereens at that point. This may well just be a way for Shine to make it seem like they're still going to put on the fight, and then "last minute" once you've already spent your PPV money, they'll "cancel," and blame Big Bad Don.

Original: The Ricardo Mayorga-Din Thomas MMA fight for the Shine Fights promotion is off. Josh Gross of SI tweeted that a Broward County judge ruled in favor of Don King in his attempt to stop the fight from happening. This leaves the Shine PPV gutted with no real attraction. The fight was scheduled to take place tonight. Only in America!
