Bob Arum's negotiating through the media again. Suggests he has USADA documents which prove that the final blood test between Mayweather and Mosley was 18 days before their fight. He then shoots himself down by suggesting that there were 5 or 6 tests. This despite Travis Tygart's confirmation that there were 8 blood tests.

To quote Arum "Once you start negotiating in the press it becomes an ego contest. And theres no real opportunity for rational behaviour to take over."

Figured out the technical part.
Couple of comments. More will become apparent when the results become public. Something that Tygart says will happen by the end of the month.

Many of you have probably seen the link. Arum claims that he has seen the results of USADA’s report on Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather claiming the final blood test took place 18 days prior to the fight

With it being Arum it probably isn’t true but if he is proven to be wrong which isn’t particularly difficult to do if he is this will be particularly humiliating for Pac’s camp.
And tbh even if it is true, it’s been misrepresented. The final test being 18 days before is not the same as an 18 day cut off. Testing was random throughout so neither Mayweather nor Mosley knew when their final blood test was.

Was also amusing to see Arum say 5 or 6 tests considering there were 8.
Tygert "Both fighters were tested 8 times each. 4 of those times were blood only. And the other 4 times were blood and urine.

Arums negotiating with the media again and doing a terrible job of it.

Arum might be out of his depth on this one. This is a new frontier I don’t think he really understands, but he’s going to attack it anyway.
