"I want [my father] to know that every time we woke up at dawn, every trip we took, everything we did, it was all worth it."
Heavy.com has a video series up called Cotto: Road to the Bronx, and I truly do recommend it. The videos aren't long, so they won't consume a lot of your time, and you get to see a bit inside of Cotto's first camp with Emanuel Steward leading up to his June 5 return fight and junior middleweight debut against Yuri Foreman.

Both of these guys are just so damn likable, I don’t know who to root for.

I'm with you
both guys are the old throwback fighters who take pride in fighting for their God, home, and country/ethnicity. You don’t get a lot of the arrogance and sh*t talking that mares so much of what people love about fighting.
Vote Quimby
well made and very interesting
well worth the few minutes to watch them.

I don't know if it's just wishful thinking...
… but there’s a moment in the first video, at around 41-43 seconds, where Miguel is practicing with Steward, and I saw a glimpse of the old Cotto. He looked fast and powerful. It could’ve been just the angle of the shot, it could’ve been just me projecting my wishes… but I really hope we see that silent assassin he used to be, once again. I don’t wish any ill will to Foreman, au contraire he seems like a stand up guy and he seems like he’s very disciplined and works quite a bit, but I really want to see Cotto win this in a decisive fashion. I’m not saying he will, I’m saying I’m really hoping…
Crazy Cool
I think its crazy cool that Cotto gave his father some real props.
Cotto and Emmanuel Steward, that’s cool.

"I'm not afraid to say it: I'm not a brawler, and I'm not a coward. I'm not going to trade punch one-for-one with a guy. I'm going to hit the guy and not get hit. That's a smart way to fight." - GSP
I love the way Steward talks to Cotto
He always calls him “Mr Cotto”, and “yeees” seemed to punctuate every sentence. I’m not taking the piss, I think he is quite the character.

I'm nominating...
… Bryan Perez, Cotto’s right hand, for next season of the Biggest Loser, who’s with me?
