Despite the 90-plus degree temperature, Uzelkov kept on the ear muffs all fight, throwing just 22 punches per round. Uzelkov landed in single digits in total punches in every round, landing 62 punches all fight. Solid, workmanlike performance for Shumenov in defense of his WBA light heavyweight title.
