Around SBN: Leandro Damiao Is Still Really Good

Ricardo Mayorga's short (nonexistent?) mixed martial arts career appears to be over. The mercurial trash-talker and promoter Don King have reconciled, and Mayorga will be returning to boxing. Reportedly, Mayorga's return bout will likely be in Germany, challenging for Felix Sturm's middleweight title. This is probably a good fight for both fighters - it makes Mayorga some money and keeps him in the spotlight, and it provides Sturm with his biggest name opponent in a long time, as well as a good start to his new 10-fight contract with German TV network SAT1. If Mayorga can't come to terms, it appears that Sturm's backup plan would be to face Marco Antonio Rubio.

Well, that was a brief non-act of resistance. What percentage of profits do you think King will be heisting now?

I like watching Mayorga fight

Say what you want about him, his balls to the wall style kicks ass. He fought well against Mosley in the beginning rounds and didn’t look particularly bad.
