Fights in Canada piss me off because instead of getting it on regular HBO Canada they try to sell it as a stupid PPV event… I’m not paying for that.

$60 PPV for this card

Especially with its nonexistent undercard, is ridiculous. I’ll be surprised if it sells at all.

They’re even overcharging for the live show. Minimum seat price is $100 a pop. I hear they’re having a lot of trouble selling it. They’ve sold about 6,000 tickets, which is good when you’re charging that much, but it also means the arena will be more than half empty.

I guess it could be worse. I know some of the Bute PPVs haven’t even been available at all outside of Quebec, yet all of Canada gets blacked out for the fights.

Yeah, at least this time it didn’t catch me off-guard. The first time was with the Bute-Miranda / Pavlik-Martinez card. I was sooooo pissed that day I wrote to HBO customer service and tweeted to them how much they sucked hahahaha!
