Jesus, K9’s arms are huge for a 154 lber.

They look like about 77 pounds a piece on their own. Still wish I could find this fight anywhere to actually see what sort of stoppage it actually was, not that this particular picture speaks well to Spinks’ condition.
Here's a snippet from Rafael, who was there live I believe
He punished Spinks with it, staggering him and nearly knocking him through the ropes in the second round. In the fifth round, he did knock Spinks through the ropes after a series of overhand rights snapped his head back. Finally, one of the blows sent Spinks through the ropes and onto the ring apron. He was a mess when he got to his feet and referee Mark Nelson stopped the beating at 1 minute, 28 seconds. Afterward, Spinks, who was fighting for the first time in 16 months, complained about the stoppage, which is ridiculous. He was gone. At least maybe you can understand that Spinks was not all there when he complained.

I was there live
Spinks got caught with two straight hands through his guard while he was against the ropes. The first one hurt him bad and caused bleeding from his mouth, the second one knocked him down and really finished him off. He got back up, but he was punch drunk and wobbled around in front of the referee, who stopped the fight after he gave him the 8 count and saw he could barely stay on his feet.
Spinks looked really bad from the opening bell as well. K-9 rushed him at the onset of the fight and hurt him in the 1st minute. Cory never was competitive in the fight and was booed unmercifully by the home crowd for about 10 minutes while on the jumbotron. It was sad, really. It looked like he was crying while exiting the ring.
I remember he got booed bad last year against Latimore too (you were probably also at that fight if you’re in STL) but then won over the crowd with a spirited performance and the W. I felt good for him in that fight. But everything I’ve read about this one, including your account now, says he looked terrible and Bundrage just ate him alive.

Unfortunately I missed that fight
If I remember correctly, It was on Thursday and I had a big Econ test on Friday in my last semester for my degree. I thought it was very odd they had it on Thursday and was pissed because I’m about 2 1/2 hours from St. Louis right now (originally from there though). Heard they were pretty hard on Spinks before that fight and couldn’t believe how badly the crowd booed him on Saturday, with all that the Spinx family tree has meant to St. Louis boxing.
Again, he did look really bad from the start and I can’t believe his quote because he got smoked with two really hard straight rights through his guard in what ended the fight. K-9 also looked huge standing next to him and Spinks had no movement to stay away from the bigger man.
Thats the first thing I said when I seen this guy's arms also
He might be flexing a little bit in that picture though, I dont know.
his arms are always huge
He’s just a guy with a freaky build for his size.

POTY !!
So far this image has my vote for Photo of the Year !
If ever a picture could tell a story…..
That wasn't how he got knocked out
It was earlier in the fight when K-9 was throwing Spinks around the ring. He bullied him the whole fight. He was knocked out by the ropes though and the replay is pretty brutal. They showed it again and again after the fight.
